The Roadburn documentary/concert DVD is finally ready for release and is available on the Merch page!
We also have a limited number of the new Hammerhead 10" from Land o' Smiles Records. Only 500 of them were pressed and they're going fast.
Also check the Tour page, as new 2007 dates are being posted often. The boys are planning to play as many shows as they can this year, so be on the lookout for drunken mayhem in your area.
Yes, it's a bit behind schedule, but nevertheless we're proud to finally show the finished project! Ambrosia Path Productions did one Hell of a job on these babies. This release includes the entire Roadburn set, scenes of the band terrorizing Amsterdam, full-on drunken audio commentary with the boys as they watch the DVD for the first time, photo galleries, a band bio and more.
A limited supply of these will be available at this weekend's Doomed To Fall Fest. Official DVD release date coming soon (we promise)!
After many trials and tribulations, the Roadburn DVD is finally nearing completion!
The movie clocks in at just over an hour and features Solace's Roadburn set in its entirety, plus behind-the-scenes peeks into the band's days and nights in Amsterdam and Tilburg before the show. Take a look at the Roadburn trailer by clicking the preview below.
Release is anticipated for late August/early September, so keep your eyes on the Merch page!
Practice has been going great. Jason's vocals sound great with the A.D. songs. We've also been working on two entirely new songs one of which is called "The Immortal, The Dead and The Nothing" which we plan on debuting in Texas in October.
"Hammerhead", our CD split with Greatdayforup, is being rereleased on 10" vinyl. Release is due in late July by Land o' Smiles Musick Club, with kick-ass new cover art by our buddy Paul Vismara.
We're going to be playing the Doomed to Fall Fest this October. It'll be our first time in Texas: The Sanctuary in San Antonio. We're headlining Sunday night, October 22.
Eddie "Boppo" Ramos, our very good friend, passed away last week. We played a show and drank to Eddie at The Brighton Bar tonight, along with 1000 Knives of Fire. Greatdayforup had to cancel last-minute, unfortunately.
Eddie will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, but by us especially. He's been around since the beginning - since before the beginning.
Rest in peace Boppo.
Edwin "Boppo" Ramos, Jr. June 7th 1968 - April 29th 2006
